McIntosh Country Inn Accessiblilty Policy
Policy for providing goods & services to people with disabilities..
The McIntosh Country Inn is dedicated to providing our service to everyone without prejudice. We strive to treat all clients fairly and equally. Our Inn provides access to our main lobby and ground level rooms to everyone and accepts all service animals in all parts of our Inn. We do not charge anyone who uses service animals or interpreters to enter our Inn. All charges for rooms and services will be the same for every person who uses our facilities. The staff at the McIntosh Inn treats every person with respect and takes into account any barriers that may play a roll in communicating and servicing our clients.
Any devices needed to support mobility will always have access to our facilities. There is no service charge for bringing assistive devices to our Inn.
In the Event of disruption to access of our Inn we will post signage outside on our board and post it on our Web Site as soon as possible to let our clients know. We will make every attempt to help access our Inn during these times if it ever occurs.
All Our staff is aware of how to be respectful to all clients. If at any time you as a client are not happy with the service do not hesitate to express this to any team member and it will be rectified immediately. You may E-Mail, write a letter or speak directly to any manager at the Inn with all requests and any input you have to better serve you. We welcome your feed back and want you to communicate that with any manger or staff at the Inn.
Staff must communicate to the client directly and not interpreters or the service animal, as that would be disrespectful to the person and may disrupt the animals job to its master. If a client needs assistance such as luggage carried to a room, guidance around the hotel, large print instructions, hand written communication, and verbal communication in easily answered format of yes or no; it will be provided by our customer service representatives which is all staff working at the time of the individuals visit.
The Inn has a barrier free room that is suited to people with mobility issues, all door numbers are in Braille and in large printed numbers.
Thank you in advance for looking at our Inn for your next event, overnight stay or dinner plans.
Sincerely
The McIntosh Country Inn.
